Math has always been a major part of the White House culture, and now it is ready for your students to enjoy. One challenging math problem on four levels is presented each week. The archive holds hundreds of other math problems.
In the Classroom
Teachers may want to periodically use this site as an opening exercise to review math concepts. This could be used as one of many Daily Quick Math sites. You can also share it on your teacher web page as an extra credit option. One pitfall: this site doesn't tell you how to work the problem, in the event you can't get the problem correct. It is simply a math problem with the answer verified or denied. The name "Math Challenge" is appropriately named, so beware of the difficulty level. Linking the White House with Mathematics positively promotes education. You must be registered and logged in to add items to your favorites.
