09/13/2008: Mr. Global's sample class - Brienz, - Switzerland

Dewey is one remarkable dog! This afternoon we saw him rescue a little girl lost high in the mountains (the Alps). After he trotted back into town, he stopped to rest in front of this typical Swiss house. He even made friends with our school pet, Franz, a Bernese Mountain dog. We have no idea how Dewey and Franz can navigate through the steep Alps without even using a map. They are even able to avoid landslides and avalanches. We are so glad we got to meet Dewey (or his look-alike). (This sample possible Dewey sighting is not nearly as creative as yours might be. Remember that the most creative entry will win a prize for your class).
09/11/2008: Sample Class - Chicago, IL - USA

We couldn’t believe what we saw today while visiting downtown Chicago on our class field trip! After traveling southwest (a cardinal direction) on the train to get there, we visited some museums and even went to the top of a skyscraper to see the lake. Holy Idaho! The view was amazing! We are glad Chicago is not landlocked. At lunchtime we walked through a fancy hotel, and look what we saw! There was a dog who looked a lot like Dewey looking out the window at he streets outside. We think he was watching for Geo and Meri to rescue him. (This sample possible Dewey sighting is not nearly as creative as yours might be. Remember that the most creative entry will win a prize for your class).
