Updated: April 8, 2002

Interactive Physics Problem Set - Univ. of California, Berkeley - Grades 9-12 - This site has 100 physics problems, listed by topic, for students to attempt and find the answers online. Simulations(movies) may be viewed by Macintosh computers only, but texts of the problems work on any computer. Great for reinforcement in another medium.

Physics Lecture Demonstrations, with some problems and puzzles - Dr. D. Simanek, Lockhaven University of PA - Grades 6-12 - This rather long page has a list of puzzling demonstrations (many with simple materials) you can use to spark student interest and challenge their powers to explain what they observe. A great resource.

Physics at Shiloh High School - Grades 9-12 - This site includes comprehensive lesson plans and handouts for a high school Physics I class. Handouts, daily assignments, and teaching methods are included. Second semester plans are not all complete at this writing. The author, a high school physics teacher, welcomes feedback and questions.

Physics OnLine - Peter L. Vogel, Physics teacher - Grades 9-12 - This site from British Columbia includes details and student handout, judge sheets, and other info on the 18 year old balsa bridge building contest conducted at the Vancouver, BC school. Structure your own contest and/or learn from their experience.
