Lincoln Lesson Idea: 1-2-3....200 Email this page to a friend

Objectives:

Students will build number sense by practicing counting to 200 during various physical exercises.

Activity:

To honor Lincoln’s birthday in physical education class, challenge students to do something 200 times (jumping jacks, run 200 yards, jump rope counting to 200). Or make this an “at-home” assignment for students to walk or ride their bike 200 miles in 2009. Encourage parents to take part in this healthy activity.
