Objectives:

Students will evaluate the pertinent events of Abraham Lincoln's life as they create interactive timelines.

Activity:

Have students work in cooperative learning groups and create an interactive timeline of Lincoln's life. Require students to include the "important stuff": birth, elective to office, marriage, death, etc.. Then allow each group to choose some events they feel deserve mention on the timeline. Have the groups share their timelines on an interactive whiteboard or projector.
