Ramadan Information for Teachers - Grades 6-12 - This site from the Council on Islamic Education offers an extensive introduction to Ramadan for teachers, along with explanations, discussion questions, and vocabulary words for students. The site includes printable materials for classroom use. There are also links to additional information on Muslim holidays. CIE's resources have expanded significantly in recent years.

Ramadan Explained - Grades 6-12 - The Muslim Student organization at Colorado State University offers this description of Ramadan and its significance as part of the Islamic faith.

Ramadan Essentials - Grades 9-12 - This is a long, detailed set of instructions and rules for the celebration of Ramadan that gives an example of the traditions and customs associated with this important observation. It is probabaly more useful for use by teachers than as a resource for students.

Ramadan Fact Sheet for Teachers - Grades 4-12 - This page from an Islamic software company includes teacher information, along with links to activities, software, and many other related Islamic topics. This page isn't explicitly for non-Muslims, so some of the content may require a little study or research. There's lots to see, though.

Ramadan Activities - Grades 4-8 - This page has poems, songs, and several Ramadan craft projects. There are also links to other Islamic resources, including Quran study information.

Ramadan at Holidays.net - Grades 4-12 - This is a basic introduction to Ramadan for non-Muslims. It explains the fasting and obedience requirements of the holiday.
