Breaking Color Barriers - A Science Unit for Grades 3-4

Ask parents to scramble the eggs and divide them up evenly for every child who would like some.

Summary

Ask the students for their conclusions about the eggs.

Does anyone want to describe what happened at the workstations?
Would anyone like to share a recording page?
What did you discover about these eggs?
What can you conclude about brown and white eggs?
If I have two eggs and the shells are different colors, does that mean the insides are different too?
Do you think this information is true about the outside and inside of any other objects?
What about animals?
What about people?
What can we conclude based upon our experiment today?

Homework: write a paragraph that explains the experiment, procedure and conclusions we observed in our class today.
