Here’s a site by Score filled with great activities that enhance Laura Ingalls Wilder’s well loved story. Activities range from log cabin web research, learning and writing about wolves, writing a recipe for maple syrup, writing a letter to 3rd grade children in the future, and writing a formal book report. Teachers will find the site easy to use with links for research topics, a list of Content Standards, and Performance Standards rubrics for quicker evaluation. NOTE: SCORE Cyberguides announced that they are no longer checking links and maintaining these excellent resources as of April 2008 due to lack of funding. You will want to verify all links before using the cyberguide in class. You may want to use portions of this cyberguide in combination with other online resources.
