Question of the Week

This week's question:
Grandparents sometimes provide the stability in our students’ lives. Has a grandparent made the difference between success and failure for one of your students? How did he/she help?

Here are some of the replies to this question:

From: Connie James, Glasgow, MT

One of my students has a Grandmother who checked up on her periodically. The grandmother provided a place for her go after school and stayed active in the students life. It meant the difference between this young lady staying caught up in class and passing or failing the class.
