It is a New Year and time for some new challenges! Why not sign your students up to participate in the K-12 Game-A-Thon. This math and problem-solving challenge opened for registration on January 1, 2016. Looking for some other educational challenges, particularly in science? Generation Nano (open to high school students) continues through February 2, 2016. Exploravision Science Competition is open to grades K-12 and continues through February 1, 2016. FETC Bound?
Are you heading to the Future of Education Technology Conference this week in Orlando, Florida? Source for Learning will be there. Come and visit our workshop on Tuesday 4:00 - 7:00pm, Free Tools to Differentiate, Communicate, Assess, and Organize BYOT Classrooms. He Had A Dream
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is just around the corner. Find lesson plans for celebrating MLK in elementary grades. We also have a research and art project appropriate for all levels; They Had a Dream, Too. Tie these lessons into your curriculum as you prepare for Black History Month.
