Students will organize and produce authentic looking photographs depicting the 1860s.

Activity:
Have a photo contest to celebrate Lincoln's 200th birthday! Challenge your students in photography class (or history class) to take staged pictures to look historically and authentic. Consider having students create captions to go with their photos. Display the winning photos in the school showcases. Give out awards for most authentic costumes, best special effects, scenery, expressions, captions, and whatever else is applicable in your class.
