The works of dozens of well-known authors are presented in audio format on this site that also includes video clips of plays and a collection of author interviews. For young children, fine readings of Beatrix Potter's stories and an outstanding performance of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland are provided. Older students can select from a variety of classic poems, short stories, and interviews with such literary masters as Isaac Asimov, Gunter Grass, and John Updike.

In the Classroom
This resource would work well as an independent enrichment center in the classroom or as an introduction to the study of one of the represented authors. For younger students, teacher selection of the audio segments is a must. Developed by the Ohio University Telecommunications Center.
