Grades K-12

The Urlist

Create and share a list of URLs efficiently, easily, and with no registration needed! Simply, copy and paste each link and then share the URL created. While registration is not required, it does allow you to save, manage, and edit your lists.

3x3 Links

This basic tool allows you to organize and save websites into a 3x3 grid. Customize your page to include a personalized URL and add a background image. Add items as a link to any website or create a folder that links to a new grid with websites you add.

Grades 6-12

Papaly

Design boards of links to your popular tools and bookmarks, including Twitter, Facebook, news sites, Pinterest, and other websites. Hover over boards and click on the + sign to begin a new board. You can select from popular categories to instantly create!

Curate Using Any Device

Curating tools that are available as both an app and on a web browser are especially useful for collecting and sharing resources in a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) classroom. Below are a few worth exploring.

Grades K-12

Google Photos

Looking for an easy way to store and organize photos? Find, organize, edit, and share your photos from one place with Google Photos. Automatically upload pictures from any device to one storage platform. Use the editing tools to add music and animation.

Grades K-12

Raindrop.io

This device-agnostic tool allows you to use the web or app to collect online and media content and organize it into collections. Collections can include videos and other media. Add tags and drag-and-drop bookmarks between collections as you wish.

Grades 1-12

Diigo - Education

Diigo offers a one-stop tool to bookmark favorite sites, tag web pages with relevant terms, highlight text on the web, add sticky notes on websites for organization and collaboration, share your collections with colleagues, and more.

Grades K-12

Wakelet

Explore this amazing web tool, also available as an app, to save online links including articles, videos, tweets, and more. You can organize them into collections called Wakes and share with others. Search already-created Wakes for inspiration!

Go Beyond Basic Curating

While the web tools in this section are good for curating, they offer additional features such as annotating, creating mind maps, and more. 

Grades 4-12

Netboard

Curate and share texts, documents, links, photos, and more. Create a new page and begin adding content by entering a website URL, uploading information from your computer, or adding text boxes. Personalize and share using the generated URL.

Grades K-12

Webjets

Webjet enables you to curate, organize, and share web content by creating personalized "cards" to share information. Create your account and begin working. Use links at the bottom of your workspace to add lists, mind maps, folders, and more.

Grades 6-12

Mix

Use Mix to browse and search for information based on your interests and those of like-minded people. Import content from news sources, popular blogs, and additional resources. The more you browse and save material, the more Mix will refine what you like.

Grades 9-12

Listly

Create, curate, and share "social" lists. Registration is not required, but does include some extra perks: add tags, descriptions, options for comments and collaboration. Search already created lists or create your own and share with others.

Surfmark

Collect, express opinions, and collaborate on web content. This site allows you to add annotations to any page, or highlight text directly from web content. View saved pages as a mind map, or create books for multiple pages.
