The UFLI Toolbox is a free website that offers a variety of resources that align with the Science of Reading. When you scroll to the bottom of the website, it shares the scope and sequence of the lessons. Once you click on the lesson, you will receive resources, including a slide deck (PowerPoint and Google Slides versions) for the skill, decodable passages, home practice activities, and additional activities. Home practice provides word chains, sample words, and sentences. The additional activities include roll and read. At the end of each phonics concept, an assessment is provided. Additionally, if you click on the Resources tab, you will gain access to virtual teaching resources, dyslexia, and parent hubs, which provide lessons, videos, and support.

Books can be translated into Spanish and Ukrainian. Some books have an activity before reading. The site allows you to search based on age range.

In the Classroom
World Reader can be used in the classroom to allow students the opportunity to read books. Students can answer comprehension questions after reading the books. Sesame Street is an engaging site that contains links to games, videos, art, and muppets. In the games section of the website, students can learn how to play memory and their ABCs, remember where an object is, and learn how to use the potty. The videos section includes a morning routine, ABC song, kindness, and raise your hand. Children can create a pizza, birthday cake, caterpillar, and window in the art section. In the muppet section, children can explore the various muppets' living areas. Some sections require a sign-in with a free account.

The scoring provides points as students complete a writing activity using sensory language, dialogue, and more, while teachers view student scores in real-time. Groovelit uses AI to generate stories based on teacher input on the skill and content focus and suggests ideas for the type of game to create. Choose the customize option to select a game and personalize options for scoring and length of the game. Students join the game by visiting the provided link and using the custom code.
