Artificial intelligence (AI) offers exciting opportunities to transform assessment practices. In this workshop, you will learn how to use education-specific AI tools to create engaging, effective formative and summative assessments for your students. Join us to explore various AI tools that can help you design and generate assessment items, rubrics, feedback, and reports based on your curriculum's learning objectives and standards. As a result of this session, teachers will: 1. Identify and evaluate different types of AI tools for assessment creation and delivery; 2. Use AI tools to design and generate formative and summative assessment instruments, such as quizzes, projects, portfolios, and presentations; and 3. Choose from many different languages to set as the course language and the speaker's native language. Teachers may create a free account using Google, Clever, or an email account. Allowing microphone access to the site from your browser is required.

Conker.ai is an online platform that can help teachers create online quizzes for students of all grades. Teachers can easily customize quizzes based on the topic, the number of questions, and the difficulty level. Questions can be multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, or a combination of both. Quizzes can be completed online using an access code or exported to a Google form. First, you must create an account with Google, which requires you to give access to your Google Drive.

Teachers can input relevant topics or subjects for their students, select a suitable grade level, and specify the number of questions needed. Many different output languages make this an excellent resource for world language teachers. Go digital with Choose Your Own Adventure stories! Google Slides presentations don't have to be linear. Learn to create a nonlinear show that can engage students while helping them learn content. Join this session and learn to use Google Slides to create an interactive, engaging instructional activity or Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) story so you can guide your students as they create their own. As a result of this session, teachers will: 1. Review storytelling elements; 2. Understand how to create nonlinear Google Slides presentations; and 3. Learn ways to use CYOA slideshows in the classroom. This session is appropriate for teachers at all technology levels.
